          The printing press is a device that allows for a uniform printing matter to be done in mass production, this is usually text in the form of books and newspaper. The invention of the printing press had made it easier and economical to produce and circulate information. Printing enhances the spread of knowledge and the sharing of ideas.  It also helps information to be placed on paper which resulted in the massive distribution of books, pamphlets, pictures, and newspaper. Johannes Gutenberg printing press is an example in which newfound ability was very useful in helping many people all over the world to be able to benefit from something that was inexpensive. The printing press help to make it easier for person to get information easier and quicker. Books, newspaper, and pamphlet can be produced in less time comparing to the tedious and sometimes inaccurate way of printing prior to the inventions of the printing press. 

        Before the printing press became popular, certain information was accessible only to persons who could afford it because it was so expensive. More people can now have access to books because the printing press had made it possible for persons of low socioeconomic background to be able to purchase books. Knowledge can be better acquired because more people can have access to printed materials. This also help more student in schools to get printed materials at a low cost, consequently, increase in knowledge for many was noticeable. Even the bible is more accessible to persons, thus making it easier for persons of different denominations better able to own a bible. More people across the world can share creative ideas and get more information at their fingertips.
